Purchased hot water tank through Costco promotion, I guess this is the company they use for installation. Hot water tank was converted from natural gas to electric. Job was completed installers left and shortly after had to return as they didn’t turn the gas back on for the house. Installer returned, turned gas back on didn’t even come inside and just told us from outside it was turned back on. We could smell gas within seconds. I quickly rushed downstairs and could tell the pipe they removed was not caped off. I rushed back upstairs and told My wife to grab our 15 month old daughter and get out of the house. Luckily weathertech employee was still in his car and didn’t leave the driveway and we told him there’s a gas leak he has to shut off the gas. He had to return to the shop to get tools, and material. We contacted Manitoba hydro and they sent an employee on an emergency call and told us to stay outside as the house smelt of gas really bad after the pipe was caped off. Manitoba hydro employee  showed up did air readings and instructed us to stay outside for abit longer. He also asked us many questions and the process, and after hearing what we told him he said this was pure negligence. 3 hours later we were allowed back into our home. Weathertech didn’t even have the decency to call us the next day to apologize or anything only called us to confirm the price on 2 breakers. I am not impressed and would not recommend this company to anyone and I’m lucky nothing happend to my wife and our 15 month old child, or our home.

We decided to get air conditioning after many years without having it.  We received three quotes and by far Steve(owner) was the best as he explained the heat pump process in depth.  We figured out an install date which suited our schedule.  The install went seamlessly as three guys named Josh, Jessie and Nick showed up in the morning on time and with everything they needed.  They all had different jobs to do in this installation and u could tell they were experienced as they moved quickly and with ease.  After the installation Josh was kind enough to give my husband a thorough run through of how the heat pump worked and also how to navigate the thermostat. I have recently upgraded my furnace and air conditioner. After having five separate companies out to quote on this project, I felt most comfortable with Weather Tech. Steve, the owner came out to provide me sound advice of exactly what I need. His quote was in line with all the other companies. Nick, Josh, Luke, and Sam came right on time to do the installation. They were extremely friendly, professional, and respectful. They installed everything perfectly and left the house, clean and tidy. There was one issue with the thermostat, but after reaching out after hours, they promised to send a tech Monday to correct the problem. So thanks to everyone at Weather Tech for giving me peace of mind for the next 25 years. So just a short update. They discovered that my thermostat was defective from the get-go. Without any hesitation, they replaced it with a brand new one and I am up and running without any issues. I couldn’t be happier. Thank you to Steve and the team at WeatherTech. One last point I want to mention.  This entire HVAC system was purchased through Costco and results in a Costco shop card which is essentially a significant discount of the system.
