Emergency Furnace Repair Checklist

Before calling for an emergency furnace repair, check the thermostat, breaker, air filter, and supply vents. If the furnace still won't produce heat, keeps shutting down, or shows signs of a serious problem, stop troubleshooting and call a qualified technician. Never keep resetting a tripped breaker or attempt repairs involving gas, burners, or the heat exchanger yourself.
